The Bottom Four
The women were brought to center stage first. Randi was the first female in the bottom four, and Melissa was the second. Janette, Jeanine and Kayla were all safe to dance another week.
The men were brought to center stage after the women’s results were read. Kupono was the first male dancer in the bottom four, and Ade was the second. Brandon, Evan and Jason were all safe to dance another week.
One Final Dance
The results had already been finalized at this point, but the bottom four dancers were given one more chance to show the audience what they could do before those results were read.
Randi’s performance was so beautiful. It was much stronger than last night, but she still doesn’t compare to some of the other dancers. Mary said she isn’t sure why Randi is still under the radar because she is consistently fantastic. Debbie thought she might be in the bottom four solely because the Paso Doble just isn’t for her.
Kupono’s performance was much better tonight than the previous night but some of his moves are still confusing. Mary said last night he didn’t show the volume and passion necessary, and she warned him that his solo will have to be stronger next time.
Melissa is just so beautiful when she dances. Her technique is near perfect, and it was shocking to see her in the bottom four. Debbie told her she needs to branch out with her solos and give the audience more to look forward to and to want.
Ade’s solo is another confusing one. His style is contemporary (I think) but sometimes his moves are a little out there for the average viewers. His flip is amazing, though. Mary and Debbie screamed that Ade is a star who needs to do nothing different.
The Final Results
Randi and Melissa were brought center stage first. Randi was eliminated, but the crowd didn’t sound too shocked. Randi kept her smiling going the entire time.
Next, Kupono and Ade were brought center stage. Kupono was eliminated, and the viewers heard a collective “awe” from the audience.
